| The Centre is a conversion from the former day school premises beneath the Church.
It provides residential accommodation in six dormitories for up to 27 people with a fully
equipped kitchen, dining and recreation room, overlooked by a gallery lounge, a TV lounge
and toilets with showers and hand basins.(Pictures) Full central heating allows the centre to remain
open all year round and there is good access for wheelchairs. It is centrally situated in Ashbourne and may be booked for weekends, midweek periods or for full weeks. The accommodation comprises one 11-bed room, two 4-bed rooms, one 5-bed room one 2-bed staff room and one 1-bed staff room. Prices start at £210 for the full centre for two days. |

Georgian architecture, a fine Parish Church and with Dovedale and Alton Towers nearby!
There is good walking, a cycle hire scheme and a swimming pool. Carsington reservoir is close and
the surrounding countryside is ideal for field trips. Special events include Ashbourne's
Shrovetide Football and Tissington's Well Dressings which start on Ascension Day. The historic
houses of Chatsworth, Kedleston, Haddon and Calke are all close enough for a visit as are
The Museum of Childhood at Sudbury, Arkwright's Mill at Cromford and the Crich Tramway Museum
