Brailsford lies on the A52 between Ashbourne and Derby.

The original chapel was built in 1845 as a Primitive Methodist Chapel. In 1914 the building
was extended (the right portion of the drawing). There is a service each Sunday evening at
6.30 and a United Service with the Anglican Church at
10.45 am on the first Sunday in the month which alternates between the two churches. There is
a monthly ladies meeting and the premises are used each week by the handbell ringers.
